June 4th

I harvested carrots and a couple of sweet onions.


The onions are really good raw, I think we had them on some hotdogs a few times.


Although the carrots were small and had to be supplemented with some store-bought ones, there were plenty of greens to make Carrot Top Soup. Carrot tops taste a lot like parsley, and it was really good with grilled cheese sandwiches.
